David Archibald
David's concerts this summer will feature the full range of his original compositions. Accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, piano and banjo he will engage the audience with a musical blend of humour, romance, history and storytelling. There will be songs from his musicals such as "The Ballad of Pirate Bill" and "Everything She Wants." David will perform favourites from the Canoesongs anthologies ("Path of the Paddle" and "Blue Mountain Blue"). He will also include Haliburton songs such as "St. Nora's Tower," and he will bring our marine heritage to life with powerful ballads like "Spirit of the Inland Sea" and "Babylon Shore." It promises to be a charming evening's entertainment with a couple of surprise musical guests as well.
