Early Stages for Young Actors Begins this Season

This summer, Highlands Summer Festival is opening a new youth program. Called Early Stages, this is an apprenticeship program for  young people 10 to 14 years of age. Youth will be a part of a three day a week, four week program during the month of July. During that period the participants will learn theatrical skills, participate in theatre games that will enhance their dramatic skills and make them more confident on stage.  The program will conclude with a public presentation. Participants will be selected through an audition process. See the details at this link, audition information. Scroll down on the page to the Early Stages section. There will be a $190 charge for those taking part in the program. A limited bursary assistance is available.
