2026 VOLUNTEER SURVEY

In September 2025 we initiated a strategic planning process to ensure we would still be here in 2030 and could meet the needs of our volunteers, patrons, and the community as a whole. We have always known that the success of the Festival each summer reflects the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. YOU are our greatest resource!

However, our strategic planning process highlighted the need for on-going training, direction, succession planning, and an overall positive experience for volunteers.

Please take five minutes to answer some questions that will help us do this better. Your responses to the questions are completely confidential. Only summarized data will be made available to HSF Directors for the purposes of supporting best practices and addressing issues.

Truly, we appreciate your time in making the Festival the success it is, and ask for a few more minutes to complete this survey! Please complete the survey by October 19th.

The expectations of the role were made very clear from the start. The expectations of the role became clear quite soon after I started. The expectations of the role never really became clear.

I didn't need any help No, even though I asked I sometimes got help, but not always or not quickly enough I always got the help I needed in a timely manner
