Too Many Cooks
|
It's 1932 in Niagara Falls, Canada, where the rum-running business is at its peak. Irving Bubbalowe and his daughter, Honey, have risked everything to open a gourmet restaurant. When their renowned singing chef fails to appear, tonight's grand opening is placed in jeopardy. Meanwhile, a Chicago gangster has come looking for an illegal shipment of booze in the restaurant basement, trailed by a hot-blooded immigration officer and a suspicious tee-totaling Mountie. Can Irving and Honey save the restaurant - and themselves - from both the gangsters and the law?
Opens July 27th for five performances, including one matinee. Recommended for ages 13 and up. |
