HSF has a whole new look!

With the theatre dark for so long, we took the opportunity to come back with a bang!  We created a whole new look for HSF.  We started with the logo and went from there!  Our current logo, designed more than 20 years ago when HSF was founded, needed to be updated into something a little more modern.  We just wanted to tell you who we were and what we do.  While we considered some pictorial graphics to show the beauty of our Highlands, we decided to shout out who we are and what we do in a simple, modern word mark.  We really want you to recognize us!

​To introduce our new logo, we designed a new, more modern, user friendly website.  We wanted to showcase what makes HSF different from other community theatre festivals - the quality of our productions, certainly, but also the unrivalled beauty of our location in the Haliburton Highlands.  To make sure we reflected the beauty of the Highlands, we chose a colour pallet that is reminiscent of the Highlands.  Using the lakes and trees in our County, we plucked our colours straight from nature.
